Türkiye’s commercial vehicle brand, Anadolu Isuzu, has had its offer to acquire up to 75.2% of Uzbekistan-based SamAuto accepted. With this strategic move, Anadolu Isuzu is adding a second production facility to its operations, in line with its international growth objectives.

Anadolu Isuzu’s offer to acquire a 75.2% stake in SamAuto – a company that has long operated in Uzbekistan as a joint venture with Japanese Isuzu and Itochu – was accepted as of September 30, 2025. With 42 years of industry experience, advanced production infrastructure, strong R&D capabilities, and a wide product range, Anadolu Isuzu is taking a major step toward becoming an integrated production hub that will strengthen its presence and competitiveness in Central Asia and similar markets. Following the completion of the transfer process in the coming days, Anadolu Isuzu will significantly expand its production and distribution network in Central Asia. As part of this acquisition, some of the models currently manufactured at SamAuto's facilities are expected to be added to Anadolu Isuzu’s product portfolio, and some Anadolu Isuzu models will also be produced at SamAuto's plant.

“We will represent Türkiye’s engineering and industrial capabilities with strength and pride on the global stage”
Tuğrul Arıkan, General Manager of Anadolu Isuzu, commented on the acquisition: “This investment marks one of the most important steps in strengthening our presence in international markets. With this acquisition, we will not only expand our commercial vehicle production capabilities, but also proudly represent Türkiye’s engineering and industrial expertise on a global level. This investment will enhance our production capacity and operational efficiency, enabling us to directly access many high-potential markets with new and diverse products.”

Anadolu Isuzu to Create Impact Across a Wide Geography with Its Production Power
Anadolu Isuzu, which exports its innovative products – developed at its R&D center and produced with high quality in its own manufacturing facilities – to more than 45 countries, continues its international growth journey with determination, steadily expanding its export geography. With this investment, the company is on its way to becoming a strategic integrated production hub that serves the large populations of Uzbekistan and neighboring countries.
